Healthy hair

I got a very over due trim the other day. It had been too long. I’d been meaning to sort it a loooot sooner however I’m used to going to the same woman in England for the last few years who is nothing short of a hair genius.

I was very nervous to say the least to get new hands on my tresses, lucky I liked the end result. Towards the end he told me something I pretty much already new: that I had dry ends, like pretty dry ends. He said the top of my hair was good but showed me where it needs extra nourishment.

I have fine hair that’s prone to some horrendous knots at times but I’d say I have a balanced diet, I don’t use much heat and I’m careful with how I generally treat it. Over the years have used the argan oil on my ends and try to a hair mask on every once in a while. I haven’t been using any oil or hair mask regularly, only once or twice around 2 months ago, therefore (!) today I picked up the L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil. The 100ml bottle promises ‘incredible nourishment, magical shine and versatile use’.

I know this product has been a while but I never jumped on the band wagon despite hearing great things so thought I’d give it a try. I’m going to try use it every time before/after I wash my hair and see if there’s any difference.

What tips for healthy, nourished hair do you have?
